To support all responsible landlords in Rhode Island by providing information and education relating to local and state currently proposed laws, defending landlord property rights, and representing landlords during state legislative sessions.
Who We Are
RICOHP is a statewide organization of landlords that strives to provide a variety of needed housing options for Rhode Island residents in a dignified manner that is respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory all while protecting the property rights of renters and landlords.Guided by our unwavering dedication to social responsibility, we strive to create clean, safe, and healthy environments, that empower each resident of our community. We prioritize the well-being of our tenants and their security while fostering collaborative relationships with policy makers. We support legislation and housing initiatives that are not restrictive in nature yet provide realistic long-term solutions. RICOHP stands as a beacon of innovation, compassion, and inclusivity, working tirelessly to build a future where everyone has a place to call home.
RICOHP abides by all state and federal housing laws including but not limited to The Fair Housing Act. Our coalition is a socio-economically diverse group of individuals as much as it is culturally diverse. We encourage networking and connection amongst our members in order to gain further perspective, share best practices, educate owners of long-term rental property, and coordinate legislative action needed to protect the property rights of landlords/housing providers.
